I have always loved color as most of my paintings will show but I never thought I’d be such a realist, looking for challenging and detailed subject matter. I keep hoping to be freer with my work but it is not to be. The still life paintings of the Dutch Golden Era were always fascinating to me so maybe that was one of my influences.

I seem to jump around with subject matter so it’s very hard to pinpoint a specific style. I am fed by the beauty around me and the support of a wonderful group of painters.
